WELCOMING IN THE NEW DECADE WITH A NEW LOOK

Rudgate Brewery is going into 2020 with a fresh new look. The core range of cask ales and bottles will still be brewed to the original popular recipes keeping up with consistency and meticulous standards the Rudgate customers expects.
The new look also includes a range of small batch 330ml cans in 3 fruit-based flavours. Very Cherry Saison is sweet & sour light cherry pale ale, packed with mouth-watering tart fruit flavours, Grapefruit Paradisi is deliciously pale with fresh grapefruit and a zesty fruit punch and Mango in the Night has notes of exotic mango and lush tropical fruit.

Craig lee, MD of Rudgate Brewery commented “we always uphold our traditional values but also understand the need to adapt to new market expectations. Every year we work on the quality and consistency of our core range plus creating innovative, new recipes so with these in mind a fresh new look was also required. We’re confident that this radical new image will place us at the forefront of any establishment.”

Mat Lazenby of LazenbyBrown, brand design commented: “We’re proud of the award winning work we’ve produced with Rudgate over the years and this current refresh of the brand has allowed us to confidently define their place in the beer market; a well-respected traditional brewer with an appetite for innovation”
Our cask beers can be found nationally via wholesalers and large pub companies as well as regionally in freetrade and local tied outlets. Our small pack products are available in Booths, Regional Morrisons, Coop and Waitrose as well as independent stores.

Editors notes:

Rudgate Brewery was set up in 1992 by 2 ex Bass Brewers in an old armoury building on the disused WW2 airfield on Marston Moor in Tockwith. As the brewery was on the Viking road of `Rudgate’ it seemed natural to use this name and theme the brewery on Vikings. In 2011 a new brewery facility was built as volumes doubled between 2002 and 2008 to our current volumes of around 120 brewers barrels (35,000 pints) per week and now into the expanding market of craft cans.
Several awards are won every year at major events including CAMRA Champion Beer of Britain.
We protect and celebrate the noble and ancient art of brewing and the time-honoured quality and brewing standards.
