Rudgate Brewery has expanded their award winning range to include something a bit fruity! Branded the ‘Innovation range’ they have initially launched 3 new fruit-based flavours in 330ml cans.
Full of fresh juicy flavours, the beers are ideal for summer drinking. Blue Nose has deep blueberry notes; Key Lime Pie, fresh and zesty citrus flavours; and Mango in the Night packs a punch of tropical fruit.
Craig lee, MD of Rudgate Brewery commented “We wanted to develop something a little unique, and are really delighted with our new ‘Innovation Ales Range’. The brewing team are already working on exciting new additions which we hope to launch in the coming months.”
The full range can now be found in Booths as well as independent outlets around the North of England.
Cask beers still remain their core business; they also brew some exceptional seasonal specials, an ever increasing portfolio of bottled beers, keg and now cans.
Rudgate Brewery was set up in 1992 by 2 ex Bass Brewers in an old armory building on the disused WW2 airfield on Marston Moor in Tockwith. As the brewery was on the Viking road of `Rudgate’ it seemed natural to use this name and theme the brewery on Vikings. Viking Bitter was released in September 1992 shortly followed by Battleaxe. These were the only 2 beers produced until Ruby Mild was created around 1995.
In 2011 a new brewery facility was built , volumes doubled between 2002 and 2008 then grew further under the new leadership up to our current volumes of around 120 brewers barrels (35,000 pints) per week and now into the expanding market of craft cans.
